Meet Matt Fahy, L.M.H.C.

State of Florida,
Licensed Mental Health Counselor,
License No. MH14433

Matt began his pursuit of understanding the human condition with a B.A. in Anthropology from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri. After spending a number of years exploring and working as an Archeologist, he returned to school and received a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Webster University. For the past 12 years, Matt has worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida.

The goal of Matt’s work is to help you make positive change in your life and have fun! He works with with both adults and youth populations and is a particularly good fit for adolescent boys who are struggling at school, home, or social situations.

Matt has extensive experience helping those with serious and persistent diagnoses, addictions, depression, anxiety, ADD, anger, mood issues and the unique challenges of non-traditional relationships or lifestyles. His work is best described as striving to bring a distinctive blend of understanding psychology from a historical and anthropological perspective. This allows for some very insightful and creative approaches in his work based on a historical understanding of human nature.

Matt is also passionate about youth development in Pinellas County and serves as the vice-chair of the Pinellas County 4-H Association, a group that provides financial support for the 4-H Youth Development Programs and 4-H Clubs in addition to scholarships to camps, 4-H Congresses, and leadership forums, both state and national.
